To transfer a call in progress, first search for or locate the agent the agent you'd like to transfer to in the "Contacts" pane:
Once the agent you'd like to transfer to is shown, select their extension to call the agent. The initial call in progress will be placed on hold while you speak to the agent:
If the target agent is available, take a moment to introduce the original caller and then select "merge" to enter conference mode:
Once in conference mode and you have performed the warm handoff, remove yourself from the conference. Be sure to remove only your extension. This completes the transfer process.
If the target agent is unavailable (e.g., you reach their voicemail), then you may end the 2nd call and return to the call in progress. Be sure to select "hold" to take them off hold and continue the call, or restart the warm transfer process by selecting a different contact in the contacts list.
