The CA 3 Day right to cancel regulation requires the enrollment of a client into a debt settlement program 3 days prior to the addition of that client into servicing. Allowing the client to cancel the agreement within those three days without any work being done on the clients contract.
The docusign will be sent immediately to the client and the client can sign the contract at the time of receipt. Once the docusign is complete the client will receive a final notice that they have 3 days from the creation of the contract to cancel the agreement before entering servicing.
The sales agent will not be able to push this file forward until the 3 day period is completed. If the QC Call is complete and automation is enabled the agreement will automatically be sent to servicing.
CA 3 Day Hold
Enrollment is held for 3 days for CA clients who have docusigned. This is a state requirement to allow cancellation prior to servicing.
